THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF...

- You’re the person who can walk into a kitchen, look at what needs to be done and get things moving.

- You’ll be comfortable taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of a kitchen, producing meals for residents, working with kitchen hands and making sure food is protected,



appropriate and served to a high standard.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

- Preparing and cooking meals for residents

- Managing the day-to-day kitchen operation

- Working alongside and directing kitchen hands

- Maintaining food quality, presentation and portion requirements

- Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are followed

- Checking stock, supplies and food quality

- Following individual dietary and facility requirements

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

- Experience working as a Chef or Cook in Aged Care and/or Hospital settings

- Minimum 3 months' paid industry experience

- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher qualification

- Food Safety & Handling Certificate

- Valid National Police Check

- COVID-19 vaccination in accordance with applicable state requirements

- Current driver's licence, reliable vehicle and mobile phone

- Availability to work weekdays
