Qualified Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic – Full Time TYREPLUS Acacia Ridge | Acacia Ridge, Brisbane QLD Up to $100,000 per annum + superannuation + performance bonuses Monday to Friday – No Saturdays! We’re looking for an experienced, qualified Light Vehicle Automotive Technician to join our established, family-owned tyre and mechanical workshop in Acacia Ridge.

We’ve recently promoted one of our long-serving technicians into an Assistant Manager position, creating an opportunity for another capable mechanic to become part of our team. About the role This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday, generally 8:00am to 5:00pm, with no Saturday work. You’ll be part of a busy, well-equipped workshop servicing a wide range of passenger vehicles, SUVs and 4WDs.

Our work covers everything from routine maintenance and general mechanical repairs through to more specialised diagnostic, suspension and performance-related jobs. Your responsibilities will include:

- Carrying out logbook servicing, scheduled maintenance and general mechanical repairs.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and vehicle performance faults.
- Performing brake, steering, suspension, cooling system and drivetrain repairs.




- Using diagnostic equipment and technical information to identify faults and determine appropriate repairs.
- Inspecting vehicles and identifying maintenance or repair requirements.
- Completing accurate job documentation and communicating findings to the workshop management team.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and workshop cleanliness.
- Working independently while supporting other technicians when required.
- Contributing to a positive team environment and maintaining a customer-focused approach.

Depending on your experience and interests, there are also opportunities to be involved in wheel alignments, 4WD suspension upgrades, Ranger Raptor modifications and other specialist automotive work. What we’re looking for We’re looking for a qualified tradesperson who is confident in their abilities, takes initiative and genuinely cares about doing the job properly. Ideally, you’ll have:

- A recognised Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent trade qualification.
- Solid experience in general automotive servicing, repairs and fault diagnosis.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and a logical approach to troubleshooting.
- The ability to work independently, efficiently and accurately.
- Pride in your workmanship and attention to detail.
- Valuable communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- A current driver’s licence.




- A commitment to workplace safety and providing a high standard of customer service.

Experience with advanced diagnostics, wheel alignments, suspension or 4WD vehicles would be advantageous, but isn’t essential. We value attitude, reliability, technical ability and quality workmanship over simply counting years of experience. What we offer
