About Casual Relief TeachingAs a Casual Relief Teacher (CRT), you’ll step in to cover short‑term teacher absences by delivering planned lessons or supervising learning. CRT work offers flexibility, while still allowing you to build solid relationships within school communities and gain experience across different settings.

- VIT registration (or application submitted)
- Current CV with relevant experience
- Two principal‑class referees (Mentor teachers accepted for graduates)Valid Australian working rights
