Life Systems Medical is an Australian specialist distributor of cardiac and vascular medical devices, working with public and private hospitals across Australia and Recent Zealand. We represent leading manufacturers including Philips Image Guided Therapy, Occlutech, Pressure Products, CIRCA Scientific and Baylis Medical.

About the role

Based in Melbourne, you’ll look after our Victorian hospital customers, with some travel to South Australia and the ACT. The role is a genuine mix of sales and clinical work. You’ll manage and grow your own territory, and you’ll be in the lab or theatre supporting clinicians during procedures.

Your portfolio covers laser lead extraction, coronary and peripheral laser atherectomy, structural heart occluders, transseptal access, oesophageal temperature monitoring, and haemodynamic and ambulatory diagnostics. Your customers are electrophysiologists, interventional cardiologists, cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists and their teams.

What you’ll do

• Provide clinical support during procedures in cath labs, EP labs and operating theatres

• Run in-service training and product demonstrations for clinical staff

• Build lasting relationships with physicians, nurses, technologists and hospital management

• Find and close new business, and meet quarterly and annual territory targets





• Develop account plans with the National Sales & Product Manager

• Manage consignment stock and keep CRM and prospect records up to date

• Share market and competitor insights, and attend conferences and education events

About you

• Clinical experience in a cath lab, EP lab or cardiac theatre (nursing, cardiac physiology, radiography or similar), or medical device sales experience in cardiology or vascular

• Confident and calm in a procedural environment

• A clear communicator who builds trust with clinicians

• Self-directed, organised and comfortable managing your own territory

• Current driver’s licence and willing to travel, including occasional early starts and interstate trips

• Able to meet hospital credentialing requirements, including immunisations and police check

• Full Australian working rights
