Understand Construction Drawings

We are seeking experienced Pipe Layers to join our civil construction, team delivering storm water infrastructure projects for upcoming projects based around Southwest and Northwest Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation of storm water pipelines and pits

Trench preparation

Reading and interpreting plans, levels and specifications

Working safely around existing underground services

Assisting with backfilling and compaction

Operating small plant and tools where required

Maintaining a high standard of safety, quality and housekeeping

Working effectively as part of a construction crew

Essential Requirements:

White Card (Construction Induction)

Valid driver's licence

Current car licence (C) required

Demonstrated experience as a Pipe Layer on civil stormwater projects

Minimum 3-5 years of pipe laying experience required

Ability to read and understand construction drawings

Strong knowledge of trench safety and safe work practices

Robust work ethic and reliability

Australian work rights required

Strongly Favoured Skills:

Current Dogman Ticket

Current VOC Excavator
