We are seeking an enthusiastic and patient-focused optometrist to join our well-established independent practice in Toowoomba. This position offers 3-5 days per week, with flexibility for the right candidate.

We are a full-scope, independent, Provision optometry practice that has been caring for the Toowoomba community for over 25 years, with two practices in the area. We pride ourselves on delivering comprehensive, patient-centred care without the pressures of corporate KPIs or sales targets. Our practice serves a diverse patient base of all ages, offering essential to high-end optical solutions.
Contact lens fitting including soft lenses, Ortho-K, and Minisclerals/RGPs.
Our practice is well equipped with modern technology to support high-quality clinical care, including:
Optos retinal camera
Digital slit-lamp camera
REVO OCT with fundus camera and biometry
Humphrey field analyzer
Medmont corneal topographer
Oculus keratograph
IPL
Visioffice
We offer 30-45min appointment times and have a friendly, experienced dispensing team.
Who We’re Looking For:
We are particularly interested in finding an optometrist with a strong passion in paediatric and behavioural optometry who genuinely enjoys working with children and is keen to continue learning and developing in this area. You will be well supported by our experienced behavioural optometrists and encouraged to further expand your skills and clinical confidence in this space.
This role would suit someone who enjoys practising full-scope optometry and building genuine, long-term relationships with patients. You’ll value clinical independence, enjoy collaborating within a supportive team environment, and be passionate about delivering thoughtful, personalised care. We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, proactive, and interested in developing an ongoing and loyal patient base as part of a long-term commitment to the practice.
