The Opportunity
Gorilla Jobs is seeking a Locum GP VMO or CMO to support general practice and acute care services in the Hunter New England region.
This role suits a doctor with recent GP VMO, CMO, general practice or acute care experience who wants flexibility in when and where they work.
Choose ad-hoc shifts or a longer block for upcoming dates, at $180 to $230 per hour depending on site.

Clinical Environment
• Choose between GP clinics, regional hospitals and ED fast track settings
• Supportive clinical teams including FACEMs, registrars, nurses and allied health staff
• Broad patient mix including families, older adults, acute presentations and chronic disease
• Assess and manage patients, and support acute presentations and primary care needs
• Complete clinical documentation and handover, and escalate concerns appropriately

Requirements
• AHPRA Specialist Registration
• Recent GP VMO, CMO, general practice or acute care experience
• NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
• Australian working rights
• Willingness to complete local credentialing and onboarding
