About the role

You'll work alongside our Leading Hand on site, supporting the carpentry and construction team and learning the trade properly from experienced builders.

Key responsibilities

- Assist the Leading Hand with framing, decking, pergolas, roofing and general building works

- Load, transport and set up materials, tools and equipment for site

- Help out at our Montrose factory when required

- Keep sites safe, clean and organised

- Learn to read plans and follow instructions accurately

- Pitch in wherever the job needs it

About you

- Keen to learn and build a career in construction

- Reliable, punctual and strong work ethic

- Good communicator who works well in a small team and with clients on site

- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors

- Own transport and a current driver's licence

- White Card (or willingness to obtain one immediately)

- Previous labouring,



carpentry or building experience is an advantage, but not essential
