As a Warehouse/Dispatch storeperson, you will manage the dispatch process and quality control of outgoing automotive parts for a progressive, industry-leading used auto parts supplier.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect quality of outgoing automotive parts
- Manage dispatch process to ensure items are dispatched correctly
- Pick and pack items from shelf
- Liaise with appropriate couriers as required
- Use computer and handheld scanners
- Load/unload couriers with or without forklift
- Wrap parts to ensure they arrive to their destination safely
- Ensuring use of most productive methods to maintain daily outgoing deliveries
About you
- Experience working in a warehouse in a similar position is essential
- Must have references showing previous experience
- Must be capable of using computer and handheld scanners
- Reliable and consistent work history
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Strong knowledge of cars and their parts advantageous
- Mechanical or Auto Dismantling experience is advantageous
