Accountant | Permanent | CBD | Education Sector | 5 days in office/n Your new company /n You'll be working in the CBD, close to buses and trains, and with cafés on your doorstep. You'll be joining a well-established Education sector business, with a for-purpose outlook. The finance team don't recruit very often, and staff retention is excellent.

Your new role /n You will have responsibility for end-to-end accounting for one of the operating units, and you will have a deep involvement with the wider Finance team. Your main duties will cover the following accounting tasks:

- Supervising contractual invoicing

/n - Oversight and input into the trial balance

/n - Monthly, quarterly, and annual management and financial reporting

/n - Variance analysis and forecasting

/n - Liaising with internal and external stakeholders /n - Assisting business units with budget preparation

/n - Working with business managers to deliver operational reporting

/n - Regular reforecasting

/n - Routine month end activities

What you'll need to succeed /n You’ll need to be CPA, CA, or CIMA qualified with 5+ years’ experience in a finance role. Other requirements include:

/n - Demonstrated interpersonal skills

/n - Robust verbal and written communication skills





/n - Natural curiosity to investigate variances and understand root causes

/n - Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

/n - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

/n - Must be a Permanent Resident or Citizen

/n - Must be able to pass a Police Check
