Accountant (Mid-Level) | Melbourne | $80K - $100K + Super

The role

Based in Melbourne, you'll look after day-to-day accounting and reporting, working closely with the leadership team as the business grows. It's a broad, hands-on role with plenty of variety and room to put your stamp on things.

What you'll be doing

- Preparing monthly and year-end financial statements and management reports
- Running month-end: journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing BAS, IAS and other compliance lodgements
- Supporting budgeting,



forecasting and variance analysis
- Assisting with audit preparation and ad hoc finance requests
- Keeping finance systems and processes accurate and up to date

What you'll bring

- A degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
- CA or CPA qualified, or working towards it
- 3-5 years' accounting experience (commercial or public practice)
- Good working knowledge of Australian tax and compliance requirements
- Experience with Xero, MYOB or similar, plus solid Excel skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines
- Clear communication and a team-oriented approach
