A well-established organisation located in Brisbane CBD is seeking the talents of an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their team in a permanent full-time position.

You'll handle the full payables cycle from start to finish in a busy, hands-on role. It's a great fit for someone who takes pride in accuracy, likes a steady flow of work and enjoys being the person suppliers can rely on.

What you'll be doing

- Processing a high volume of supplier invoices, credit notes and adjustments
- Matching invoices to purchase orders and receipts, and following up any discrepancies
- Coding invoices correctly and chasing approvals so nothing gets held up
- Preparing and processing regular payment runs
- Answering supplier queries and reconciling supplier statements
- Working with internal teams to sort out receipting and purchase order issues
- Keeping supplier records accurate and up to date, following proper controls
- Assisting with month-end tasks and providing information for audits

About you

- Previous experience in an end to end accounts payable position including invoice entry, matching, payment runs and reconciliations
- Experience working in an ERP system, and experience with invoice automation software is a bonus




- Strong attention to detail and can manage a high workload without losing accuracy
- Clear, friendly communicator who handles queries professionally
