About This Role

This is a Business Development role, with approximately 70% of the focus on developing new accounts across the industrial and manufacturing sectors, and the remaining 30% focused on managing existing accounts.

- Identifying and winning recent service, maintenance and aftermarket opportunities

- Developing new customers and expanding existing key accounts

- Converting customers to longer-term service and maintenance agreements

- Identifying opportunities for additional service work, spare parts and aftermarket solutions

- Understanding customer requirements and developing appropriate commercial solutions

- Building strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders

- Working closely with internal service, sales and technical teams

- Monitoring market activity and identifying new business opportunities

- Supporting customer satisfaction and retention

- Managing opportunities through the sales cycle from identification through to close

Requirements

- Proven experience in business development, sales or account management




- A strong hunter mentality and demonstrated success winning new customers

- Experience selling aftermarket, service, maintenance, spare parts or technical solutions

- Experience within industrial equipment, engineering, manufacturing, mining, energy or a similar environment

- Strong commercial, negotiation and relationship-building skills

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to identify customer needs and translate them into commercial opportunities

- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- A self-motivated approach with the ability to work autonomously

- Willingness to travel as required
