Challenger Services Group is seeking a reliable and dedicated Full-Time Aged Care Facility Cleaner to join our team in Carlingford, NSW. In this role, you'll help provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff within a residential aged care setting through the delivery of high-quality cleaning services.

Every day, your work will contribute to resident comfort, wellbeing, and quality of life while helping maintain the high standards expected in an aged care environment.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm

Location: Carlingford, NSW

What You'll Be Doing As a Facility Cleaner, you'll be responsible for:

- Cleaning and maintaining resident rooms, bathrooms, dining areas, common spaces, and staff facilities.
- Ensuring all areas are presented to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Following infection control procedures and aged care cleaning standards.
- Safely using cleaning chemicals, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assisting with outbreak management cleaning protocols when required.
- Completing daily cleaning schedules and tasks efficiently and thoroughly.
- Reporting maintenance issues, hazards, or equipment faults.
- Supporting a welcoming and comfortable environment for residents and visitors through professional and respectful interactions.

About You

You'll be someone who:

- Takes pride in delivering exceptional cleaning standards.
- Has previous cleaning, housekeeping, healthcare, hospitality, or aged care experience (preferred but not essential).
- Understands secure cleaning practices, chemical handling, and infection control procedures.




- Has a genuine desire to contribute to a caring environment for elderly residents.
- Is reliable, organised, and able to manage their time effectively.
- Has strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Holds a valid Police Check or is willing to obtain one.
- Holds an NDIS Worker Check or is willing to obtain one (Mandatory).
- Has received at least two COVID-19 vaccinations and a current Influenza vaccination (Mandatory).
