We have partnered with a major Queensland State Government infrastructure and facilities services division in Brisbane to secure a focused Business Support Officer for a 6 month contract with a possibility of extension. Operating within a quiet, self-contained business unit, this role sits at $51.12/hr + super and offers full time, stable 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM weekday hours. It is an outstanding opportunity for an efficient data professional who thrives in an autonomous environment and takes pride in high volume processing accuracy.

Your new role

Your duties will be tasks including but not limited to;

Processing high volume timesheets and trade logs within strict daily timeframes.

Reviewing non standard data entries and using logic to resolve processing exceptions.

Communicating with trade staff and supervisors to clarify job data and timesheet queries.

Maintaining databases and master systems with exceptional focus and attention to detail.

Working independently to ensure continuous daily workflow and accuracy standards.

What will you need to be successful in this role

Demonstrated experience in high volume timesheet, payroll, or job cost data entry.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills to understand process exceptions.

Clear written and verbal communication skills for trade and operational liaison.

Ability to work autonomously and maintain high accuracy during repetitive processing.





High reliability and commitment to a 100% onsite 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM schedule.
