Position overview:
The primary purpose of the position is to provide support in the delivery of learning and development programs to enhance the overall professional development of internal employees.
What you will be doing:
- Undertaking desktop research to inform recommendations for continuous improvement in learning and development processes and practices.
- Providing support to team members in developing, implementing, and reviewing resources to provide the streamlined delivery of learning and development programs to internal stakeholders.
- Assisting in the tracking, analysis and auditing of learning and development and business procedures, submissions, and resources.
- Providing administrative and logistical support and guidance to team members and regional officers in the delivery of learning and development programs.
- Supporting the preparation of a range of high-quality written materials including reports, guides and presentations.
- Ensuring quality preparation and dissemination of documents such as minutes, agenda, email correspondence and reports.
- Working both autonomously and within the team and using your own judgement to meet priorities and deadlines, and manage resources effectively.
- Fostering and supporting solid working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful and timely implementation of activities for the ongoing development and maintenance of business processes, procedures and systems.
A common week of activities could include:
- Enrolling learners into training and responding to enquiries
- Logistical coordination of training, including room set up, printing, catering ordering
- Administration of the learner management system
- Reviewing preferred supplier lists to identify vendors for training
- Post-training activities (following up on invoices, updating training trackers)
- Reporting on learner attendance and evaluation results
Additional requirements and/or highly desirable skills:
- Possess strong interpersonal skills, confidence, and the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Have experience working in a high-pace environment where every day is different.
- Be adaptable and flexible to move between tasks and changing priorities.
- Possess a high level of organisation, communication and attention to detail skills.
- Have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite – specifically Teams, Outlook, Excel and SharePoint.
- Have intermediate knowledge of Adobe Acrobat (desirable).
