We are an integrated facility services provider, delivering hospitality and support services to companies operating in remote and regional locations across Australia. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated and demanding environments, including remote mine sites throughout Far North Queensland.

Due to significant growth across our Far North Queensland remote operations, we are looking for an experienced Area Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of multiple newly established remote mining camps in the same region.

Working with a well-established mining company, the successful candidate will work an 8 days on / 6 days off roster. Onsite accommodation and meals are included.

The Position

- Site Manager – 8&6 roster – Salary + super
- Responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the camp
- Lead and support catering, cleaning, accommodation and village services
- Manage and coordinate onsite personnel, rosters and daily operations
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure service standards are consistently achieved
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety and site requirements
- Manage stock, supplies, facilities and operational requirements
- Monitor service delivery,



staffing and operational performance
- Act as the key point of contact between Bluebush, the client and onsite personnel

The Person

- Previous experience managing remote mining camps, village or hospitality operation
- Proven leadership and people-management experience
- Solid organisational and communication skills

- Experience managing client relationships
- Understanding of remote-site operations and the challenges of working in isolated environments
- Strong commitment to health, safety and operational compliance
- Ability to manage multiple functions and competing priorities
- A practical, hands-on approach to leadership
- Experience in catering, facilities management or hospitality environments desirable
