The opportunity

We’re looking for a genuine sales professional to join us as Area Sales Manager for The Sunshine Coast, Brisbane North and surrounding areas.

Reporting to the QLD State Sales Manager, this is an on-the-road role focused on managing accounts within independent bottle shops and licensed venues, developing existing customers and identifying new opportunities across the territory.

Your key responsibilities

- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers.
- Identify and secure new accounts and distribution opportunities.
- Increase product ranging, sales and turnover across the territory.
- Work towards sales targets, territory budgets and broader business KPIs.
- Execute brand plans and maximise promotional opportunities.
- Conduct product tastings and giveaways during work hours.
- Build brand awareness through events and festivals as required
- Travel - You will be required to travel to Central QLD (Bundaberg, Gladstone, Mackay) to service your entire customer base. This will require planned regional travel pending business activity and objectives (all travel expenses will be covered), yet likely a 4-5 day trip every 8-12 weeks.

What we’re looking for First and foremost, you’re a hunter.



You enjoy chasing current sales, opening new accounts and creating distribution opportunities.

You’ll also bring

- Sales experience, ideally within the liquor or FMCG industry, although this is not essential—we’ll teach you what you need to know.
- A proven record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience using a CRM to manage customers and opportunities.
- Strong computer skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- A strong sense of ownership and pride in your performance.
- Passion for building brands and supporting their long-term growth.
- Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time-management and organisational abilities.
- The confidence to work independently while contributing positively to a team.
- A sharp eye for in-store presentation and making brands stand out.
- Self-motivation, drive and enthusiasm for tackling ambitious targets.
- Most importantly, a can-do attitude—no task is too big and no win is too small.
