We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Asphalt Crew as a Quality Assurance (QA) Officer in Murwillumbah. You will carry out quality checks on asphalt paving works and work alongside our paving crews, supervisors, and project managers.
Key responsibilities
- Carrying out quality checks on asphalt paving works
- Monitoring compaction, temperatures, thickness, and surface finish
- Completing QA paperwork and keeping accurate project records
- Working alongside paving crews, supervisors, and project managers
- Helping identify and resolve quality issues before they become problems
About you
- Experience in asphalt or civil construction (Outstanding to Have)
- Good attention to detail
- Can work independently and as part of the team
- Current White Card
- Current Driver Licence
- Basic computer skills for completing reports and documentation
- Reliable and committed
- Able to work a mix of days and nights
- Able to work 8-12 hour shifts
- Available for some interstate works - approx 3 to 4 weeks a year
