Asset information is only valuable when it can be trusted and used effectively. In this role, you’ll help strengthen Council’s asset management capability by ensuring the right information, systems and insights are available to support sound planning and decision-making.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage and enhance Council’s Asset Management Information System to ensure reliable performance, data integrity and alignment with organisational asset management needs.
- Develop and maintain asset information, reporting and analytics solutions that support informed operational, financial and strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate system integrations, data governance and information management processes to improve efficiency and support effective asset lifecycle management.
- Provide technical support, specialist advice and user training to build capability and promote the effective use of asset management systems and processes.
- Lead and support system improvements, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives to optimise asset management practices and business outcomes.
- Contribute asset information, analysis and system expertise to asset management plans, strategies, reporting and organisational decision-making.
What you’ll bring
- Qualifications in engineering, asset management, spatial science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in infrastructure asset management.
- Experience using and administering asset management systems, databases and asset information platforms.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience developing reports, dashboards and data-driven insights.
- Experience working with GIS and spatial data to support asset planning, management and analysis.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to provide advice, solve problems and build effective working relationships.
- National police check certificate dated within 6 months.
