About the role

Direct Scaffold Supplies is seeking an Assistant Account Manager to join our dynamic sales team on a full-time basis. Based in Archerfield, QLD 4108, this role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career in Account and Relationship Management within the sales industry.

As Assistant Account

Manager, you will play a vital part in supporting the growth of our client relationships and contributing to the success of our account management operations. This position is fundamental to ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support whilst building strong, lasting partnerships.

Key responsibilities

- Supporting the Account Manager in the day-to-day management of assigned client accounts
- Responding promptly to customer enquiries and providing accurate information about our products and services
- Processing orders and managing administrative tasks related to account maintenance
- Coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and resolution of customer requirements
- Maintaining detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions and account activities
- Assisting in the identification of customer needs and opportunities for account growth
- Supporting the development and implementation of account strategies and action plans
- Contributing to the preparation of reports and presentations for account reviews and client meetings
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers through professional and courteous communication
- Assisting with the onboarding of new clients and ensuring a smooth transition into our services

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in a sales, account management, or customer service role, ideally within the construction, scaffolding, or related industries
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with a professional and courteous approach




- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems
- A genuine interest in building and maintaining positive client relationships
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to respond quickly to customer needs
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of our products, services, and the scaffolding industry
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy in all work
- A proactive attitude with a solid work ethic and reliability
