Blaslov Fishing Group, a third-generation family-owned business based in Port Lincoln, is seeking a practical, organised and approachable Assistant Factory & Logistics Manager to join our team.

Enjoy a wide-ranging, hands-on role coordinating seafood operations, transport and stock movements in Port Lincoln.

This role combines operational coordination with hands-on work, including truck driving, factory support and the movement of bait and seafood between vessels and factory.

What we offer

- $85,000–$105,000 plus superannuation, depending on your skills, qualifications and experience.

About the role Working closely with our operational teams, you will:

- Coordinate logistics: organise trucks, drivers, forklifts and crews to move bait, seafood, equipment and other operational assets.
- Drive trucks and assist with transfers: undertake truck driving and support bait and seafood movements between vessels, business premises and delivery destinations.
- Support factory operations: help coordinate daily activities, processing and operations.
- Manage stock and cold storage: coordinate receivals, inventory records, stock movements, traceability, storage and dispatch.
- Monitor product quality:



check bait and seafood condition and maintain accurate quality records.
- Support staff administration: assist with timesheets and general employee records.
- Keep teams informed: communicate with fishing crews, tuna farm Managers, drivers, customers and suppliers.

About you You are reliable, approachable and comfortable balancing practical work with coordination and administration. You communicate clearly, take initiative and stay organised when priorities change.

You will need

- A current Heavy Rigid (HR) driver’s licence or higher.
- A current forklift licence is desirable but not essential, with the opportunity to obtain it after commencement.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Confidence maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- A willingness to learn our products, quality requirements and operational processes.
- A hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively with different teams.

Relevant experience in transport, logistics, warehousing, cold storage, manufacturing, agriculture or seafood operations would be valuable. We welcome applicants with transferable skills from other industries.

Working arrangements

Due to the seasonal nature of our operations, additional hours and work outside standard hours will be required during peak periods, with greater flexibility in working hours during the quieter months.
