Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager
Client-side project management | Perth, WA
Build a career, not just a job
At PropertySolve, we help our clients confidently navigate and deliver commercial property and construction projects across the workplace, commercial, not-for-profit, industrial, refurbishment and new-build sectors.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager who wants to work across diverse projects, engage directly with clients and build a long-term career in client-side project management.
Whether you currently work as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Contract Administrator, Project Engineer, consultant or in a related construction, design or property role, this could be the opportunity to take the next step.
This is a full-time, Perth-based position. The level of responsibility and remuneration package will be tailored to the successful candidate’s skills and experience.
What makes this role different?
At PropertySolve, we are not simply project administrators.
We work closely with our clients to provide trusted advice, lead project outcomes and help guide key decisions from strategy through to delivery. You’ll be encouraged to contribute, add value and develop meaningful relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
As a boutique consultancy, you’ll work directly with Directors, Senior Project Managers and clients rather than being one of many in a large corporate structure. You won’t be confined to one narrow project function. You’ll gain exposure to the full project lifecycle and progressively take greater ownership of client relationships and projects.
About the role
Working alongside our Directors and Senior Project Managers, you will assist with the planning, procurement and delivery of projects from inception through to completion.
You’ll gain experience across initial project briefing,
consultant engagement, design coordination, procurement, construction and handover, providing valuable exposure to the entire project lifecycle.
Depending on your skills and experience, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with project planning, programming and reporting
- Coordinating consultants, contractors and project stakeholders
- Managing project communications, meetings and action items
- Supporting procurement and tender processes
- Supporting contract administration, progress claims, variations and project close-out
- Monitoring project budgets, risks and key milestones
- Undertaking site inspections and project reviews
- Preparing reports, presentations, meeting records and project correspondence
- Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders
- Supporting project teams to achieve successful outcomes for our clients
As your experience grows, you’ll be given increasing responsibility, greater client exposure and opportunities to manage projects independently.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised, commercially minded and enjoys working with people.
You will demonstrate
- Solid communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong written communication and document preparation skills
- Excellent organisational and time-management capabilities
- A willingness to learn, contribute and take ownership
- Attention to detail and commercial awareness
- A proactive and practical approach to problem-solving
- The ability to manage competing priorities
- Confidence using the Microsoft suite
- A genuine interest in project management and providing exceptional client service
Experience and qualifications
Experience in construction, property, design, engineering or consultancy will be highly regarded, particularly where it includes exposure to:
- Project coordination and reporting
- Design and consultant coordination
- Procurement and tendering
- Contract administration
- Construction delivery and project close-out
A degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline will also be highly regarded.
Why PropertySolve?

We offer
- Diverse and challenging projects across multiple sectors
- Exposure to the full project lifecycle
- Direct interaction with clients and key decision-makers
- Mentoring from experienced Directors and Senior Project Managers
- A supportive and collaborative team environment
- Ongoing professional development and learning
- Clear opportunities for career progression
- Responsibility and autonomy as your experience develops
