Assistant Store Manager | Bath & Body Works

Mt Gravatt, Brisbane

Bring your personality. Back it with excellent leadership.

You know how to lift the energy on a shop floor, build confidence in a team and turn customer connections into strong results. Now bring that talent to Bath & Body Works Mt Gravatt.

We’re looking for an Assistant Store Manager (2IC) with warmth, initiative and commercial confidence. Someone who loves being amongst the action, takes pride in developing people and brings the same commitment to running the store as they do to creating a brilliant customer experience.

With fragrance favourites, gifting moments and busy trading days, there’s plenty of opportunity to make your mark.

The role

Working alongside the Store Manager, you’ll help shape the store’s performance and culture. You’ll coach in the moment, set clear priorities and give your team the support and direction they need to succeed. When the Store Manager is away, you’ll confidently take the lead.

You’ll make an impact by:

- Leading from the floor: Set the standard through your service, product knowledge, energy and professionalism.
- Driving results: Turn sales targets and KPIs into practical daily actions, keeping the team focused and motivated.
- Developing people: Coach customer connection, selling skills and product discovery while building your team’s confidence.
- Creating memorable experiences: Help customers discover their next favourite fragrance or find a gift they’re excited to give.
- Delivering strong operations: Support rostering, stock management, visual merchandising, loss prevention and promotional readiness.
- Building trust: Communicate clearly,

follow through and create a supportive team where everyone understands their contribution.

The leader we’re looking for

You bring retail leadership experience as an Assistant Store Manager, 2IC or Supervisor, along with examples of how you’ve improved performance and developed people.

You’ll also bring

- A bright, engaging personality and a natural ability to connect.
- Confidence working towards sales targets and coaching a team to achieve them.
- Strong organisation and sound judgement during busy trade.
- Initiative, accountability and pride in the details.
- Openness to feedback and a genuine appetite to keep learning.
- Availability across retail trading hours, including weekends, public holidays and peak periods.
- Appropriate Australian working rights.

Hungry to achieve. Humble enough to learn. Heart-smart in how you lead. Those qualities matter to us and they’ll help you thrive here.

What’s in it for you?

- Room to grow: Career progression across Valiram’s growing Australian retail network.
- Support to succeed: Brand training and development to strengthen your leadership and product knowledge.
- Enjoy the portfolio: Generous team member discounts across our luxury and lifestyle brands.
