We are looking for a hands-on, organised and motivated Assistant Warehouse Manager to support the daily operations of our busy warehouse.

The successful candidate will be a confident team leader who is tech-savvy, can juggle multiple responsibilities and is comfortable working both on the warehouse floor and with computer systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with daily warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing and dispatch.
- Supervise, coordinate and manage warehouse staff.
- Oversee warehouse operations in the Warehouse Manager's absence.
- Manage competing priorities and ensure deadlines are met.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and transactions using ERP systems.
- Assist with stocktakes, stock discrepancies and backorder allocations.
- Assist in warehouse WHS requirements, including safety inspections, training and compliance.
- Monitor warehouse projects, timelines and progress.
- Work closely with Product, Customer Service and other departments.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and processes.
- Take on ad hoc projects as requested by Warehouse Manager
- Reporting on warehouse productivity and slotting





Essential Skills & Experience

- Current Forklift Licence (LF) – mandatory
- RF scanning experience with is essentuions
- Proven experience supervising and managing staff.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Experience using ERP systems – mandatory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Tech-savvy, confident using technology and learning new systems.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative and make decisions.
- Valuable understanding of warehouse WHS practices.
- Willingness to be hands-on and assist wherever required.
