Auto Electrician Technicians – Short Term Fleet Upgrade Project

Resource Up are currently seeking experienced Auto Electrician Technicians to support a short‑term, major fleet upgrade across a high‑profile mining operation.

We’ve partnered with a Tier 1 contractor specialising in mining and maintenance services, who are actively recruiting Auto Electricians with robust MEM experience. These roles are immediate start and offer the chance to join a well‑established team during a significant equipment overhaul.

Roster & Project Details

- FIFO ex Perth only

- Dayshift only

- 2:2 or 2:1 rosters available

- 4–8 month upgrade project with potential to extend

About the Role

You will be involved in the installation and commissioning of safety‑related control systems across a range of mobile equipment and light vehicles, including:

- Reverse camera systems

- Anti roll‑away automatic park brake alert/application

- Seatbelt alarm systems

Surface projects will include: CAT Trucks, Highway Trucks,



Buses and Light vehicles

Skills & Requirements

- Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology

- Minimum C Class Australian Driver Licence

- Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol test

- Full Australian working rights

- Current National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)

- Mining/mobile equipment experience

- Experience installing and commissioning electrical/electronic systems

- Ability to interpret OEM installation instructions and technical documentation

- Minimum 1 year experience in mining maintenance
