We are representing an established accounting and advisory firm looking to appoint an experienced Audit Partner to strengthen its leadership team and drive the next phase of growth.

The Role You'll take a leading position within the audit practice, combining client management, technical oversight and business development.

Your focus will be on:

- Owning client relationships – Acting as a trusted adviser to boards, CFOs, business owners and senior executives.
- Growing the practice – Identifying new opportunities, leveraging your network and expanding the firm's audit presence.




- Leading audit engagements – Overseeing complex external audits while maintaining the highest standards of quality and independence.
- Developing your people – Building a capable, motivated team and mentoring the next generation of audit leaders.
- Driving commercial performance – Taking responsibility for portfolio revenue, profitability, pricing and resource management.
- Shaping the future – Working with the broader leadership team to identify growth opportunities and improve the way the business operates.

Who Will Succeed Here? We're interested in speaking with audit professionals who bring more than strong technical capability.

You'll likely be an existing Partner or Director within an Australian public practice firm, with an established client network and a track record of managing complex audit engagements.

You'll bring:

- CA or CPA qualification, with Registered Company Auditor (RCA) status highly regarded.
- Extensive external audit experience across privately owned businesses, corporate groups and other reporting entities.
- Strong technical knowledge of Australian Auditing Standards and financial reporting requirements.
- A proven ability to develop and maintain senior client relationships.
- Commercial awareness and confidence in winning new business.
- Experience building, mentoring and retaining successful audit teams.
- The ambition to take ownership, influence decisions and contribute to the growth of a practice.
