Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Automotive Product Intern to support our Product team in Australia. This role provides hands-on exposure to automotive product planning, market research, competitor analysis, vehicle evaluation and new model launches.

The successful candidate will work closely with local Product, Sales, Marketing and Aftersales teams, as well as global headquarters, to help ensure our vehicles and product strategies are competitive and relevant to the Australian market.

Key Responsibilities

- Support market and competitor research, including vehicle pricing, specifications, features, technology and positioning.
- Maintain competitor benchmarking databases and product comparison reports.
- Assist with Australian customer and market analysis, including customer profiles, market trends and product preferences.
- Support current vehicle product planning and launch activities.
- Assist with vehicle specification, option, colour and accessory analysis.
- Participate in competitor vehicle evaluations, test drives and benchmarking activities.
- Support analysis of pricing, product positioning and value propositions.
- Collect and consolidate feedback from customers, dealers, media and internal teams.
- Assist the Product team in preparing presentations, product reports and management updates.
- Support communication between the Australian subsidiary and global headquarters on local product requirements.
- Assist with product-related projects involving ADR, ANCAP, charging, connectivity, accessories and other Australian market requirements.




- Support vehicle fleet management and product evaluation activities where required.

Qualifications & Experience
- Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business, Marketing, Commerce or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in the automotive industry, EVs and emerging vehicle technologies.
- Good understanding of the Australian automotive market is preferred.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Valid Australian driver's licence preferred.

Preferred Attributes
- Genuine passion for cars and automotive technology.
- Knowledge of EVs, charging technology, ADAS and connected vehicle features.
- Familiarity with major Australian automotive brands and market segments.
- Comfortable comparing vehicle specifications, pricing and technical features.
- Mandarin language skills would be advantageous for communication with global headquarters, but are not essential.
