Role: AWS Security Developer
Mode : Hybrid
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure following AWS security best practices.
- Manage IAM users, roles, policies, and access reviews.
- Implement and maintain encryption, key management, and secure credential handling.
- Monitor security events and investigate potential vulnerabilities or threats.
- Perform regular security assessments, audits, and compliance checks.
- Ensure operating systems, databases, and applications are regularly patched and secured.
- Configure and maintain network security controls, including firewalls and access restrictions.
- Support incident response activities and security remediation efforts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enforce security standards and policies.
- Maintain security documentation, procedures, and compliance evidence.
Job Requirement
- Robust understanding of AWS Security Services such as IAM, KMS, Security Groups, NACLs, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and AWS Config.
- Experience implementing Identity & Access Management (IAM) policies, roles, and least-privilege access controls.
- Knowledge of network security concepts, including VPNs, firewalls, SSL/TLS, and secure connectivity.
- Experience with vulnerability management, patching, and remediation processes.
- Understanding of security monitoring, incident detection, and response procedures.
- Experience implementing data protection and encryption mechanisms for data at rest and in transit.
- Familiarity with security compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, or similar standards.
- Knowledge of secrets and certificate management practices.
- Experience conducting security reviews, audits, and risk assessments.
- Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity best practices.
