Assistant Manager in Training | 3rd in Charge

Permanent Part-Time - 25 hours per week base

About the role

Reporting directly to the Bakery Manager, the successful 3rd in Charge applicant will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring full availability of products, and a high level of service to our customers.

Key responsibilities

- Supporting the Department Manager with leading and coaching the team

- Ensuring inventory management compliance and accurate stock levels

- Merchandising

- Generating rosters

About you

- Food handling experience or fresh food retail knowledge

- Exposure to supporting or leading a team
- A positive 'can do' attitude

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A commitment to work health and safety standards

- Strong business acumen with an understanding of retail operations
