GPO Bar and Café is your friendly neighbourhood café where you can make yourself at home. For this, we are looking for our next superstar Barista and Cafe All-rounder who will continue to provide our customers with the best possible cafe experience!

As a Barista/ Front of House, your job tasks will include:

- Greeting customers and taking orders
- Making coffee and other drinks as well as desserts and pastries
- Assist in bringing out food and drinks when necessary
- Keeping the work area clean and organized, including washing dishes if needed
- Managing stock and inventory by creating prep lists and order lists
- Foster valuable relationships co-workers and customers
- Maintain standards for food health and safety

Experience and qualifications needed




- Prior experience is a plus but not a requirement
- Willingness to learn is a must; must have an open mind and not afraid of criticism
- Knowledge in basic customer service with the ability to adapt and be better
- Pleasing personality and the ability to listen is a definite plus
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain an enthusiastic attitude
- Communicate with other staff including front of house and kitchen staff
- Attention to detail and focus on quality and consistency

- RSA also a plus

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
