We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Barista to prepare and serve high-quality coffee and food items while delivering exceptional customer service in a quick-paced café environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in their craft, maintains a clean and organised workspace, and creates a welcoming experience for every customer.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items to a high standard
- Operate and maintain commercial coffee machines and equipment
- Provide friendly, attentive, and efficient customer service
- Take customer orders accurately and handle payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café, counter, and workstations
- Assist with stock control, inventory management, and ordering supplies
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety procedures




- Work effectively as part of a team during busy service periods

Skills & Experience

- Previous barista or customer-facing hospitality experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and consistency in drink preparation
- Basic cash handling and POS experience desirable
- Willingness to learn and take feedback

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Barista or food safety certifications are an advantage but not essential
