We’re seeking a commercially minded Business Development Manager to grow and manage key travel partnerships across Melbourne.

The role focuses on developing relationships with travel agents in the sports and entertainment sectors, as well as corporate partners.

You’ll build on existing accounts while identifying new opportunities to strengthen the organisation’s presence in the travel market. The ideal candidate brings a strong local network, a proactive approach to business development and a track record of turning partnerships into sustainable revenue.

Key responsibilities

Manage and grow a portfolio of travel agent and corporate partner accounts.

Develop relationships with agents specialising in sports and entertainment travel.

Identify, pursue and convert new partnership and revenue opportunities.

Create account plans and partnership strategies aligned with business objectives.

Represent the business at industry meetings, events and networking opportunities.

Monitor market activity and partner performance, sharing insights with internal teams.





Negotiate commercial agreements and maintain accurate pipeline and account records.

About you

You have at least 5 years’ experience as a Business Development Executive, Business Development Manager or in a comparable role.

You have established contacts and a strong skilled network in Melbourne’s travel sector.

You bring experience managing travel agent and corporate accounts, ideally across sports, entertainment or related travel segments.

You’re confident prospecting, negotiating and presenting partnership opportunities.

You’re organised, commercially focused and skilled at building long-term client relationships.

You communicate clearly and work well with both clients and internal stakeholders.
