The Casual Boom Pump Operator is responsible for the safe setup, operation, and maintenance of concrete boom pumping equipment on construction sites. This is an on-call role, with hours varying based on project requirements, weather conditions, and operational demands. The operator must be available to work flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required.

Key Resonsibilities

- Safely set up, operate, and pack down concrete boom pumps.

- Conduct pre-start inspections and report any faults or maintenance requirements.

- Pump and place concrete accurately and efficiently according to site requirements.

- Communicate effectively with site supervisors, concreters, and truck drivers.

- Ensure compliance with all company safety procedures, SWMS, and site-specific requirements.

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.





- Complete required documentation, including pre-starts, maintenance records, and job paperwork.

- Respond to short-notice work requests when available.

- Drive the concrete boom pump from the company depot to various construction sites and return the equipment to the depot upon completion of works

Requirements

- Current Construction White Card.

- Relevant driver's licence (HR licence preferred or as required).

- Previous experience operating concrete boom pumps

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Reliable, punctual, and able to respond to on-call work requirements.

Pay: $30.51 – $53.59 per hour
