Jobs Statewide is seeking a hands-on Business Manager to lead our Transition-to-Work (TtW) branch at Prahran, Victoria. This is an opportunity for an established Employment Services Manager or a rising leader to take the next step in leading the day-to-day delivery of a contracted employment services operation. You’ll be responsible for people leadership, operational performance, participant outcomes, compliance and contractual targets, while building a solid team culture focused on helping youth participants access pathways to employment and education.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

As Branch Manager, you will:

- Lead the day-to-day operational delivery of the Workforce Australia contract
- Take ownership of branch performance, contractual KPIs and business targets
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Recruitment Consultants
- Monitor team and individual performance through KPIs, reporting and performance reviews
- Conduct regular 1:1s, coaching sessions and case reviews
- Analyse branch performance and implement strategies to address gaps and improve outcomes
- Ensure strong participant engagement, service delivery and employment outcomes
- Develop relationships with local employers, community organisations and stakeholders
- Drive employer engagement and identify opportunities for participant placements
- Work closely with the Regional Manager and broader leadership team to deliver business plans

What We’re Looking For





We’re looking for someone who understands the demands of Employment Services and Workforce Australia and is ready to take ownership of branch performance.

You’ll ideally have

- Previous leadership experience in Workforce Australia or relevant contracts in Employment Services space
- Experience as a Branch Manager, Site Manager, Team Leader or Senior Consultant will be highly regarded
- A proven track record of delivering against KPIs, contractual targets and performance measures
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing teams
- Strong commercial and performance-management capability
- Experience building relationships with employers and community stakeholders
- A data-driven approach to monitoring and improving performance
- The ability to balance people, performance, compliance and participant outcomes
- A hands-on leadership style and willingness to be actively involved in branch operations
- Strong understanding of employment services compliance and operational requirements
