- Read and interpret building plans and measurements.
- Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials.
- Mix and apply mortar.
- Measure, cut, and shape bricks accurately.
- Build walls, partitions, foundations, chimneys,and other structures.
- Repair damaged brickwork and replace old or broken bricks.
- Use hand and power tools safely.
- Check that walls are level, straight, and properly aligned.
- Follow workplace health and safety requirements.
- Clean and maintain tools and the work area.
Skills Required
- Good physical fitness and manual dexterity.
- Ability to measure and calculate accurately.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work outdoors and at heights.
- Knowledge of construction materials and techniques.
- Valuable teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to safety.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
