Jellinbah Group is seeking a commercially minded Business Analyst to join our Corporate Development team in Brisbane. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities to contribute to major investment, growth and strategic initiatives across our business.

Reporting to the Company Secretary and General Manager, Corporate Development, you will support the evaluation of projects, investments, acquisitions and other commercial opportunities that drive long-term value creation for the organisation.

About the Role

As our Business Analyst, Corporate Development, you will:

- Conduct commercial, financial and strategic analysis of investment opportunities.

- Develop financial models to support project and investment evaluation.

- Support acquisitions, divestments and other key commercial transactions.

- Assist with strategic planning and financial forecasting activities.

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather market intelligence and support corporate development activities.

- Utilise AI-enabled tools responsibly to enhance productivity and insight generation while ensuring governance and confidentiality requirements are met.

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Strong analytical, research and financial modelling skills.

- Commercial acumen and the ability to think strategically.





- Experience presenting insights and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- High attention to detail and robust organisational skills.

- The ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and contribute positively to team objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.

Approximately 5 years' experience in roles supporting commercial decision-making.

Experience in areas such as corporate finance, accounting, engineering, legal, strategy or business analysis will be highly regarded.

Exposure to the resources or coal mining industry is desirable.
