This opportunity is with a well established engineering and solutions provider specialising in water and fluid management systems across the resources, industrial and infrastructure sectors in Western Australia.

The business designs, builds and delivers customised treatment and processing solutions, working closely with clients to solve complex operational challenges. They have built a strong reputation for technical capability, reliability and long term client relationships.

With a growing pipeline of projects and continued expansion, they are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to support ongoing growth of technical sales.

About the Role

Reporting to senior leadership, this role is focused on identifying, developing and securing recent project opportunities across the resources sector.

You will work closely with internal engineering and delivery teams to develop tailored solutions, manage tender submissions and convert opportunities into awarded work.

The role offers a mix of business development, technical solution selling and stakeholder engagement, working with both existing clients and new prospects.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and secure new business opportunities across the resources and industrial sectors
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, consultants and stakeholders
- Lead tendering activities including pricing, proposals and submissions




- Work closely with engineering teams to develop fit for purpose technical solutions
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial engagement through to contract award
- Maintain visibility of upcoming projects through industry networks and market intelligence
- Prepare high quality proposals, budgets and costings
- Contribute to overall sales strategy and pipeline development

Skills & Experience Required

- Experience in technical sales, business development or project delivery within engineering, water, or industrial environments
- Strong understanding of project based sales and tendering processes
- Ability to engage with stakeholders across mining companies and consultancies
- Commercially minded with experience preparing proposals and pricing
- Technical aptitude with the ability to understand engineered solutions
- Existing network within the WA resources market highly regarded
- Self driven and motivated by winning work
