MTS Hire & Sales have been operating since 2010, hiring out our plant, operators & field service technicians to a wide variety of work sites across Australia while also having a personal focus on our local communities & the city of Perth.

As part of our growth we have a long term career chance for a WA Based Business Development Manager with a background in the Civil Construction and Mining industries.

In addition to the role having a strong focus on identifying new opportunities and new client acquisitions, the role also includes the management and development of existing client relationships.

The successful candidate will need:

- Minimum of 10 Years experience across the Civil Construction and Mining Industries

- Be Based in WA
- Have a Valid Driver's Licence

- Excellent person skills
- Have the ability to work autonomously
- Ability to pass a Full Pre Employment Medical including Audiometry and LABDAS




- Experience with major mining/construction sites like Gold, Lithium and Iron Ore surface mining sites and renewable energy projects

Not necessary but would be a big plus:

- Knowledge of Heavy Earthmoving Machinery

Key Responsibilities of the role will include:
- Arrange meetings, site visits and other relationship building activities with clients across WA
- Identify and explore new business opportunities within the industry with new and existing clients
- Pursue and complete tenders
- Develop relationships with stakeholders and decision makers in the industry
- Follow up on leads across WA under the direction of the General Manager and Director
