About the Role An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a well-established business operating within the electronic security industry.

This is a genuine new-business-focused position suited to a proven hunter who enjoys prospecting, opening doors and converting opportunities into new customers and projects.

You'll be selling tailored security solutions and project-based work, rather than simply selling products, with strong technical support available internally.

Duties

- Identify and develop recent business opportunities
- Prospect and engage prospective commercial customers
- Build a strong pipeline of new clients and project opportunities
- Understand customer requirements and identify suitable solutions




- Work with internal teams to develop proposals and project solutions
- Manage opportunities from initial contact through to close
- Achieve agreed sales and new-business targets

Experience

- Proven B2B business development or external sales experience
- Strong hunter mentality with demonstrated new-business success
- Electronic security industry experience highly regarded
- Electrical, technical or solutions-based sales experience also considered
- Proven BDMs from other commercial industries encouraged to apply
- Strong prospecting, negotiation and closing skills
