As part of our growth strategy, we’re on the lookout for a dynamic and motivated Business Development & Key Account Manager to join our high-performing Victorian Sales team.

About the Role

Reporting to the GM – Sales & Business Development, you’ll be responsible for managing and expanding key customer relationships while driving new business across Victoria.

Your key responsibilities:

- Manage a portfolio of existing clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Identify, target, and win new business opportunities in key industries
- Negotiate and secure short- and long-term dry hire contracts
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver outstanding service and hire solutions
- Represent Porter Plant professionally across the construction and infrastructure sectors

What We’re Looking For





We're after someone who knows the hire industry and understands what it takes to build long-term, trust-based relationships. You’re proactive, strategic, and confident in a sales environment.

You’ll bring:

- Experience in the plant hire, equipment rental, or construction / utility industries
- Strong account management skills
- Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships across multiple sectors
- Commercial acumen and experience with pricing, tenders, and contract negotiation
- A solutions-focused attitude with a collaborative approach to teamwork
- A current driver’s licence and the ability to travel interstate as required
