We are seeking a driven and passionate Business Development Manager to join our New Balance Teamwear division in Melbourne. If you’re enthusiastic about sport, apparel, and building strong customer relationships, this could be the perfect role for you.

Main Purpose of the BDM:

The primary objective of this role is to meet established sales goals by delivering real value to our existing customers and to seek new opportunities in both the education and team sports markets for the supply of branded teamwear products and services. This position is a fulltime role requiring the incumbent to work, at times, outside of the normal scope of hours and to travel in order to meet customer’s demands etc.

About You:

- A passion and knowledge of all things sport.
- A passion for sales (sales experience an advantage but not essential)




- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Outgoing, confident, and personable
- Excellent PC skills with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Organised with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Have or will apply for Children's Worker Safety Check and National Police Check

Key Responsibilities:

- Seeking new sales opportunities through inbound leads and outbound cold calls and emails
- Understanding customer needs, requirements and offering solutions where required
- Maintaining accurate and up to date customer information
- Keeping up to date on all product ranges and providing feedback for further product opportunities.
- Follow company policies and procedures for product, sales and customer engagement
