Business Development Manager – Wholesale

Are you a commercially driven sales professional with a passion for tourism, wholesale, leisure and group business? Join Pan Pacific Perth, one of Western Australia's leading luxury hotels, as our Business Development Manager – Wholesale, focusing on growth markets and large groups. You willplay a key role in driving guests to our hotel from domestic and international wholesale agents, as well as leisure and group market segments.

About the Role In this strategic, growth-focused role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and converting wholesale, leisure, government, and group opportunities across key domestic and emerging international markets.

Working closely with our National and Global Sales teams, Tourism WA, Business Events Perth, ATEC, inbound tour operators and the wider Sales & Marketing team, you will proactively build market share, cultivate strategic agency relationships, and drive new business opportunities. You will also lead familiarisation visits and showcase the hotel's exceptional capabilities following our transformative $50 million refurbishment.

What You'll Do

- Grow and contract wholesale, leisure, government, and large group business.
- Build and manage relationships with key agencies and industry partners.
- Conduct sales calls, presentations, site inspections and networking activities.
- Lead and host familiarisation trips for domestic and international clients.
- Represent the hotel as required in trade shows,



sales missions and industry events.
- Manage RFPs, tenders and sales opportunities to maximise conversion in all sectors of the property.
- Track pipeline performance and provide market and competitor insights.

What We're Looking For

- Experience in business development, sales or account management within hospitality, tourism or travel.
- Proven ability to generate revenue and convert new business opportunities.
- Knowledge of wholesale, leisure, group or MICE market segments.
- Strong relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Experience using CRM or hotel sales systems (Opera/ Delphi preferred)
- Willingness to travel as required.
