Barista Duties
- Beverage preparation: Grind beans, pull espresso shots, steam milk, pour latte art, and make tea or cold drinks.
- Machine maintenance: Turn on, backflush, purge, and clean the espresso machine and grinders daily.
- Quality control: Check extraction times, coffee ratios, and water temperatures to ensure consistency.
Front-of-House (FOH) Duties
- Customer service: Greet guests, take orders, offer menu recommendations, and handle inquiries or complaints.
- POS and payments: Operate point-of-sale systems, handle cash, process EFTPOS transactions, and issue receipts.
- Table and floor service: Deliver food and drinks to tables, explicit and wipe down tables, and restock display cabinets.
Pay: $26.44 – $42.50 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 38.0 per week
