About Us

Nestled in the heart of our Robina neighbourhood, Harvest Foodhouse has become a beloved destination for locals and visitors alike. We serve breakfast and lunch seven days, host private functions and lots of large groups, and we are fully licensed. Our secluded, 120 seat garden setting, regular clientele and dedicated staff are turning us into a Gold Coast cornerstone.

Your Role

As Café Manager, you’ll be driving the success of the business by taking control of day-to-day operations, while being a functioning member of the service team. This is a lead by example role, where you will be hands on in the business, from customer service to cleaning… In our business, everyone helps! This is an prospect to put your stamp on a fast-growing venue and contribute to a team culture rooted in customer service.

Your goal – every customer leaves with a smile and every staff member achieves their best.

Main Responsibilities

· Positive team leadership with a focus on respect, appreciation and accountability.

· Be the standard for exceptional, genuine, honest customer care.

· Work with the owners and existing management team for recruitment, training, rostering, ordering, group bookings and private functions.

· Empower staff to take responsibility for their jobs, and to deliver their best.

· Compliance (health and safety, liquor licence).

Who We’re Looking For

· A seasoned hospitality professional with proven experience managing cafés or similar venues.

· Confident and experienced at leading and motivating teams.

· Skilled at handling orders, stock, bookings and logistics during fast-paced breakfast and lunch service.

· Solutions focused and customer service driven.

· Comfortable managing a licensed premises, large groups and private functions.

· Friendly, team focused and calm under any circumstances

Skills and Experience You’ll Need

· Proven management experience

· Team leadership and staff development skills

· Ordering, inventory, and rostering experience

· Barista skills preferred

· RSA certification – essential

· RMLV certification preferred

· Strong organisational and interpersonal abilities

· Adaptable problem-solver

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
