Services include assistance with personal care, light household duties, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transport to appointments, shopping and social outings and care management. We also provide specialist care within the following domains: Dementia, Parkinson's disease, MND, MS and Palliative care at home.

We are currently looking for reliable and caring Caregiver Level 1 (Domestic Assistant / Cleaner) to join our growing team and provide domestic assistance to older people in their homes.

No Certificate III or previous aged care experience is required for this role. Full training is provided.

About the role

As a Caregiver Level 1 (Domestic Assistant / Cleaner), you will provide practical domestic assistance to help our clients maintain a clean, safe and comfortable home environment.

Your duties may include

- General household cleaning
- Vacuuming and mopping
- Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms
- Dusting and wiping surfaces
- Laundry and changing bed linen




- General tidying and household organisation
- Other light domestic assistance within the client's home

This is a dedicated cleaning and domestic assistance role. You will not be required to provide personal care, showering, toileting, medication assistance, clinical care or other complex care services.

Who we're looking for

You don't need an aged care qualification to make a difference. You may already have experience in residential or commercial cleaning, housekeeping or hospitality, or you may simply be someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean home and enjoys helping others.

We are looking for people who are:

- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Friendly and respectful when working in someone's home
- Able to clean efficiently and to a high standard
- Comfortable working independently
- Physically capable of undertaking regular household cleaning duties
- Able to follow client instructions and individual service requirements
- Comfortable using a smartphone and basic apps
- Available for regular weekday work

Previous qualified cleaning or aged care experience is welcome but not essential.

You will also need

- A valid Australian driver's licence
- Access to a reliable vehicle
- Appropriate vehicle insurance
- A satisfactory National Police Check
- A smartphone with internet access
- The ability to meet applicable aged care worker screening and employment requirements
