We are an award-winning building company specialising in architecturally designed renovations and extensions with work all over Sydney looking for a qualified carpenter. This is a site-based role working on projects that range from renovation/extension of existing residential properties to recent residential builds with a focus on quality workmanship and attention to detail. This is a hands-on role on the tools with huge variety of work.
Key responsibilities
- Perform hands-on carpentry work on residential renovation, extension, and new build projects
- Read and interpret technical drawings and plans
- Use power and hand tools with proficiency
- Maintain commitment to workplace health and safety
- Work collaboratively as a team member and independently as required
- See tasks through to completion
About you
- Qualified Carpenter with experience on residential extension and renovation work
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans
- Excellent carpentry skills including the use of power and hand tools
- Keen interest in high end residential construction
- Problem-solving attitude
- Well-presented, motivated with strong time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and willingness to learn and teach
- Team player with ability to work independently
