About the Business

Topchoice Builder Pty Ltd is an established and growing construction business providing quality building and carpentry services across residential and light commercial projects. Our work includes recent builds, renovations, extensions, structural carpentry, interior fit-outs, and general building and maintenance works.

We are seeking a qualified and reliable full-time Carpenter to join the team at Topchoice Builder Pty Ltd. The successful applicant will be responsible for performing a wide range of carpentry and construction tasks across residential building, renovation, and extension projects.

The role requires practical experience in both structural and finishing carpentry, the ability to interpret building plans and specifications, and the capacity to work independently as well as effectively within a team.

Key Duties

- Reading and interpreting building plans and specifications
- Measuring, cutting, shaping, and preparing timber and other materials
- Constructing and repairing frames, floors, roofs, partitions, and stairs
- Performing structural, framing, renovation, and extension works
- Installing doors, windows, cladding, cabinetry, skirting, and architraves




- Assembling and fitting components accurately on-site
- Installing and dismantling formwork and temporary structures as required
- Completing finishing carpentry and detailed joinery work
- Repairing and maintaining timber structures and fixtures
- Safely operating hand tools, power tools, and machinery
- Checking completed work for quality, accuracy, and compliance
- Working effectively with builders and other trades
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Following WHS requirements and Australian building regulations

Skills & Requirements

- Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year relevant full-time experience
- Ability to read and interpret plans
- Good knowledge of Australian building standards and WHS
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
