About the Role

Are you an energetic performer, musician, or early childhood educator who loves working with young children? Lucy Sparkles & Friends Canberra is looking for vibrant, reliable, and passionate instructors to join our team!

We deliver fun, high-energy music, drama, and dance sessions for babies, toddlers, and young children across early learning centres, community venues, and events.

This role is ideal for performing arts students, freelance musicians, or early childhood educators looking for flexible, rewarding, mid-week mornings and weekend work.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Deliver Dynamic Classes: Lead engaging, interactive 30–45 minute music and movement sessions for children aged 0–5 years using our structured lesson plans and original resources.
- Build Relationships: Connect warmly with children, parents, carers, and early learning centre staff.
- Set Up & Travel: Bring your energy (and props/instruments) to venues across Canberra for scheduled session runs.

What We’re Looking For
- Music / Performance Background: Ability to sing in tune with good pitch and strong rhythm (playing an instrument like guitar or ukulele is a bonus, but not essential).
- High Energy & Warmth: A confident, theatrical,



and animated personality—you love captivating a room full of toddlers!
- Reliability & Autonomy: Punctual, organised, and comfortable managing your own daily schedule.
- Requirements:
- Valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Registration (or willing to obtain before starting).
- Reliable personal transport and driver’s licence.
- Right to work in Australia.
