Support Near Me Pty Ltd is seeking experienced, reliable and compassionate Disability Support Workers to join our team in Austral, NSW.

This is a casual role supporting participants with high care needs in a Supported Independent Living setting and during community access.

About the Role

We are looking for Support Workers who are confident working independently, can follow support plans and procedures, and genuinely care about providing safe, respectful and person-centred support.

Key responsibilities include

- Providing high-quality daily living support
- Assisting with personal care, including hygiene, dressing and toileting
- Supporting participants with mobility, transfers and positioning as required
- Supporting participants to access the community and attend appointments or activities
- Encouraging choice, independence and meaningful participation
- Following individual support plans, behaviour support strategies and health care plans
- Completing accurate progress notes, incident reports and other required documentation
- Monitoring participant wellbeing and reporting any changes or concerns appropriately
- Working confidently and professionally without direct supervision
- Maintaining participant dignity, privacy and safety at all times

- Able to work independently and use sound judgement

Essential Requirements

Applicants should have

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Valid Australian driver licence
- Reliable and insured vehicle
- Working rights in Australia
- Previous experience supporting people with disability
- Experience working with high care or complex support needs
- Ability to complete personal care safely and respectfully

Experience in Supported Independent Living (SIL), complex care, behaviour support, manual handling or community participation will be highly regarded.
